SARS Coordinator Operational & Service Level Agreement Job Description
Fully define and approve new services to be provided by SMT, maintain the service descriptions in a Service Catalogue and construct internal documents (OLA’s) to govern the delivery levels of services.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Relevant National Diploma / Advanced Certificate (NQF 6) AND 2-3 years’ experience in a OLA/SLA performance management environment, of which 1-2 years ideally at knowledge worker level.
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND Relevant IT Qualification / Certification AND 3-5 years’ experience in OLA/SLA performance management environment AND Min Functional Requirements.
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND 5 year’s OLA/SLA performance management experience.
Responsible for the creation of performance service targets through understanding of business needs and expectations.
Ensure that the agreed upon performance service targets are documented, configured, monitored, reviewed and improved on an ongoing basis.
Provide inputs into SLAs for IT services, review and analyze existing SLAs and ensure accurate configuration on SARS ITSM system.
Conduct trend analysis that will help identify bottlenecks in IT and business services support.
Facilitate negotiations between business and technical teams/business support teams to establish internal agreements that T&SD defines to ensure services are delivered in accordance to agreed service levels.
Accumulate information and provide reports with recommendations applicable to area of specialisation.
Apply practical and applied knowledge and act authoritatively on methods, systems and procedures to identify trends and potential risks.
Communication of situational interpretation and judgement of work outputs and queries in area of specialisation.
Effectively plan and schedule own activities to continuously improve quality and service delivery in area of specialisation.
Execute process and procedural change, implement the change and provide guidelines and support related to new requirements as a result of the change.
Use practical and applied knowledge and situational judgement to consider policy implications and to arrive at decisions / conclusions.
Correctly apply applicable legislation, including amongst others policies, procedures, and SOPs in the delivery of work outputs.
Apply and utilise systems in a manner that contributes to efficient and effective service deliver and optimised quality.
Communicate benefits, risks and innovations in area of specialisation.
Assist with development and identification of functional specifications for systems.
Coordinate implementation of plans and initiatives in area of accountability.
Negotiate and agree OLA’s with internal providers of services in manner consistent with levels of service required in SLA’s.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with peers and SARS role players to achieve predefined objectives.
Comply to set governance and compliance procedures and processes related to an area of work and continuously identify and escalate risks.
Ensure that completed work adhere to relevant policies, procedures, governance and legislative requirements and report on deviations & discrepancies.
