Education and experience

Bachelor’s Degree: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems AND minimum of 8 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND Relevant IT Qualification (s) / Certification (s), and minimum of 10 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role

                                                                    Alternatively

Senior Certificate (NQF 4) AND at least 15 experience in Enterprise Architecture environment, of which a minimum of 5 years is within the ESM Architecture domain role.

Requirements

Experience and knowledge Enterprise Architecture frameworks, Toolsets and MS Office.  Modelling and mapping technical skills. Technology Infrastructure Architecture skills.  Data Architecture Skills. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Governance and Business Processes.

Job Objectives

Process

• Formulation of standards, principles, policies, frameworks, catalogues for solutions to be deployed within the enterprise service management space in accordance to the industry practices.
• Scrutinize toolset capability and configuration to implement within boundaries and restrictions of the toolset and the frameworks.
• Consult with SARS top management and users internal and external to the EA business area for information gathering.
• Analyse complex service management processes, resolve and present complex information in a simplified and structured manner.
• Define high level solution architecture design improvements for implementation in the service monitoring environment.
• Develop position papers for ESM environment solutions, and obtain approval via the governance structures.
• Performance in the definition of the business speciation’s for RFPs.
• Perform evaluation of tenders for given solutions within the ESM domain
• Consult with SARS top management and users internal and external to the EA business area for information gathering
• To define current State ESM Architecture Landscapes
• To define Future State ESM Architecture Landscapes, and drive application rationalisation
• To develop roadmaps for the realisation of Future State Application Architectures and to do a recommendation to the stakeholder

Governance

• Develop and/or align governance and compliance policies for own practice area to identify and manage risk exposure liability.

• Provide specialist know-how, support, advice and practice thought leadership in area of expertise.
• Integrate new knowledge and transfer skills attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
